Microsoft Flight Simulator

Mod manager for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Keep compatible add-ons and purchases in one Windows app. Tap Flight detects your installed MSFS editions, resolves the Community folder each edition actually uses, and handles downloading, unpacking and installation.

What Tap Flight handles

  • Finds the active Community folder. Detects Steam and Microsoft Store installations, including a content folder moved to another drive. You can still select the path manually for a non-standard setup.
  • One-click install. For compatible archive-based add-ons, Tap Flight downloads the package, unpacks it into the correct simulator folder and shows progress in the queue.
  • Your purchase library. Add-ons bought on rupmdg.com appear under the same account, alongside keys and available updates.
  • Tools inside MSFS. The Tap Flight package adds access to radar, crew announcements, checklists and communication tools from the simulator toolbar.

How to start

  1. Install Tap Flight. Use the Windows install guide and sign in with the same account you use on rupmdg.com.
  2. Connect MSFS. Let Tap Flight detect MSFS 2024 or 2020. If the simulator is in a custom location, select its package folder manually.
  3. Choose a compatible add-on. Open the library and check that the product supports your exact simulator version.
  4. Press Install. Tap Flight downloads and places the add-on, then reports completion. Restart MSFS before checking the Content Manager.

Frequently asked questions

Does it support both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020?
Yes. Tap Flight detects both versions separately and uses the Community folder belonging to the selected edition.
Does it work with Steam and Microsoft Store?
Yes. Both editions are detected. A non-standard or moved content folder can be selected manually.
Does Tap Flight move my whole Community folder?
No. It installs and manages compatible packages in the folder MSFS already uses; it does not silently relocate the simulator's entire content library.
Can every MSFS add-on be installed in one click?
No. Compatible archive-based add-ons can. Products that require a developer launcher or a separate activation keep their official installation flow.
